Do you ever have moments where you wake up and think..OMFG how did I get here?? (And Im not refering to waking up in a strange bed or something! Although that's part of it I suppose..)

Where did the time go? I can't believe it's Saturday, and I've been living in Norway for a week already!
So much has happened. To summarise:

New job = Awesome
New appartment = Awesome (could be bigger but compared to where I was before..absolute luxury. And this place comes with man included!)
Norway = Awesome (It's ridiculously hot here atm. Tropical weather in Norway?!)

So..Im so excited to be working on a game at last!! It's turning out to be not only my dream job, but better than anything I couldve dreamed of! Overwhelmingly awesome stuff.
I'll be back to posting on DA when I come down! Also getting a scanner and a PC at home would be a big help there..

Missing my Lincolnites tho..xxx

This week I have been staying at my dads house in Bedford. Unfortunately the internet connection here is pretty unreliable, so I've not been able to update anything. Also, as my harddrive is neatly packed away- along with my wacom tablet- my art is on hold for the moment.
Ive been spending my time watching telly, reading the paper, seeing the boat my dad and stepmum own, and generally doing things retired ppl do..lol

But I have a multitude of people to visit in the next couple of days, and then it's my final plane trip to Norway!
I can't wait to start my new job Im starting to get very anxious about it all though..I really hope my first day goes well

In the meantime..I promise I'll try and update here as often as I can.

I'm moving back to Norway
Mostly because..I got an amazing job over there as a games concept artist!!! Something I am thrilled about but also ..still finding it hard to believe. I've wanted to do a job like this for a pretty damn long time, and now it's actually going to happen I'm a bit freaked out..

But Im also very very happy and relieved this solves alot of problems! I will finally get to live with my fiance, which is awesome- the long distance thing has really been driving us both insane and has hit us pretty hard in the pocket- international phone calls/plane/train fares..all pretty expensive stuff! But not for much longer

It's going to be so weird living in Oslo again. Hopefully it will be better now my fiance and I both have decent jobs this time, Im just a bit nervous about it all. It's a big deal! I'm pretty sure I've forgotten loads of Norwegian and I'll have to try and re-learn it all. I'll never be able to pronounce it properly..33..lol. But hey, the spoken language at my new company is English, and there'll be loads of foreigners like me there. So it won't be so bad

No more smelly London, no more rush hour on the tubes, no more lonliness! Wooo!
And I get to draw cool stuff!!

Hopefully this news explains why I haven't updated much lately Life kind of gets in the way sometimes, and there's still so much to sort out...

Yeah, it was me that missed sketch of the week this time Sorry guys! I've been really busy in Norway, and the fact that I didn't have an internet connection/scanner over the weekend didnt help.
Im back now, but left my sketch over there..d'oh! I'll be posting it as soon as my fiance can email it over!

I'm also feeling much better now. I discovered that a few of my workmates have also been sick, so whether it was a virus or something I ate I'll never know. I'm just glad it's all over!

I've had food poisoning the past couple of days which has been..horrible. I don't think I've ever thrown up so much in my life. I hope I never have to go through anything like that again.

As a result, Im behind with alot of things, including updating my journal for the next Sketch of the Week.

I haven't even started anything yet for this week, and probably won't for the next couple of days..I'm still not feeling 100%. Hopefully going back to work tomorrow will get me back in the creative swing of things..
