I'm back from my trip to England (my home country) and wow.

It was great to see everyone and catch up and remember how the culture and stuff is over there...so weird how I always manage to forget how it feels.
Also, I can now understand why packing flip flops instead of wellies was a bit...optimistic. :rain: Especially considering much of it was spent in a field, setting up and celebrating an alternative Steampunk/Zelda/Indian themed hand-fasting (which was as awesome as it sounds).

It's been so good to talk to people in my own language with slang and everything, and to realise that no, I'm not a freak (or at least not in the bad way), and my Spanish really isn't as bad as I think it is. It's always going to be lacking compared to native speakers of course. But that's OK, because this place isn't our forever home anyway.
(At least, I hope not, because I really don't suit flip flops. I'm like a perpetual goth in hot weather here).

Tea Tea Tea

This whole year has been a bit of a blur. The last few days I've had some time to think and reflect on everything I've achieved so far, and also to look back and take stock of all the work I've done, not just for my most recent game project Norse Noir, but also my Comic (name pending), my Interactive Ebook project, and Nihilumbra, a game I worked on before all that.

In the past few years I've worked as a Character Artist and Animator for 2 games. The animation part was relatively new, so I was learning a lot of new skills, and the work was quite challenging. I've been so busy making said artwork, working round the clock a lot of the time (really have to stop doing that), that I barely even had chance to look at it once it was done... or just sit back and smell the coffee as it were.

I've been given permission to upload work for both games projects, and thus far have only had time to throw the odd thing up here and there (and nothing from Nihilumbra yet since it was all created on my old PC, which I've only just had time to excavate), so this week I will be posting up as much as I can find worthy of posting up.

I really hope you guys enjoy looking at the things at least as much as I enjoyed creating the things. Or, considering how frustrating frame animation can be at times... more. Much more :)

Here's some links for your enjoyment:

:bulletpurple: Nihilumbra for iOS (Also available on Steam, and soon Android, Mac, Linux, Wii U...the list is endless it seems).
:bulletpurple: Beautifun Games Blog Which I designed- including the fabulous He-man Icon that is still there, lol!
:bulletorange: Norse Noir Kickstarter
:bulletorange: Hilarious video of me speaking about the Norse Noir Art process (if anyone wants to hear my goofy accent in poor sound quality!).

I'm dedicating the remaining dregs of this year to my original (true) goals and those elusive New Year's Resolutions I made. Will I still make it? Probably not this year, at least. But Imma try.

Thanks for watching

Wow, that's awesome :D ...I feel inadequate with what I've done this year... mostly because I don't even remember, just schoolwork and summer doldrums XD

...Actually, I've been meaning to send you a note since Tuesday, and I didn't get around to it yet. I've got an assignment coming up that involves looking at game designers' portfolios, and considering you're an artist doing the same thing I want to once I graduate, I was wondering if you'd be willing to tell me what your personal portfolio is (if you have one)? If you don't want to, that's cool, I just thought I'd ask :)
